My 'Graphic Arts' pieces at UEL Show Case '09

Here are a few pics of me accompanying my Graphic Arts work at the second year show case 09 at UEL!

For the exhibition i decided to hang 

• 4 photographs containing experimental image projection of my own various mixed media works onto large shapes.
  

• 1 semi large canvas (1st) of a portrait relating to a rescaling of a projected image

• 1  semi large digital print containing photography & digital sketch and paintings of a sequences of relating portraits

• 1 semi large canvas (2nd) of portrait relating a digital process of image impression fragmentation

• 2 digital prints relating to the process of the 2nd canvas

• 2 small digital print informing my progression of digital painting and sketching

All works inform various focus points of the conceptual interests i have been constructing over the year with supported critical theory. As also a result of my technical explorations of a variety of practices. I have had an interest in various medias some newer to me this year and they will be a foundation for my continuing project over lapping the 3rd year of my projects.

My gallery: 1st semester Animation Final Piece "Town & Country".

This is a short film animation i and three fellow students created for our 1st semesters group project at UEL Dec 08. This video is a finished piece, although throughout or project we had collected and made so much unused raw footage that any of our group may return using this collection to use for future composing and further productions as there was lots potential for the subject, idea, theme and so on to take on a diverse range of direction.

These digital images i re-sketched based from an image i fished out of the original montage sequence i produced.

This is a montage i produced which animates and recreates a moving images like affect of little Zac in a series of still photos i

 captured with a slr digital camera.

Here's a collection of work in still image taken from a verity of digital and manual media processes i.e. photography, print, drawing/sketching, painting, collage, sculpture and so on..)

Yet although some images may relate to one another (or not) i am finding it interesting that how even the process of 'recording' these images by various forms of media gives the image a unique identity one from its original form to then share a fresh creative destination!
